Nasturtium Mix (Tropaeolum majus)

Nasturtium Mix (Empress of India – deep red blooms + Glorious Orange Yellow – sunny yellow blooms) is a cheerful, edible flower blend that brings bold color to beds, borders, and containers. Both leaves and blossoms have a bright, peppery flavor—perfect in salads, sandwiches, herb butter, and as a garnish. Nasturtiums also make a great companion plant, drawing pollinators and acting as a “trap crop” for aphids. How to grow: direct sow after last frost, 1–2 cm (½”) deep, in full sun to part shade. Nasturtiums prefer average to poor soil; rich soil can mean more leaves than flowers. Space 20–30 cm (8–12″). Water to establish, then moderately.
