Watermelon Crimson Sweet (Citrullus lanatus) Net wt:~80 seeds

A classic full-size melon with bright red, extra-sweet flesh and a light-and-dark green striped rind. Vigorous vines produce big, refreshing fruits made for summer slicing.

Full sun and warm soil is a must. Start indoors 3–4 weeks before last frost, or direct sow after frost once soil is thoroughly warm. Sow 2–3 seeds per hill and thin to the strongest plant. Give vines lots of room in wide rows or large beds, and keep watering steady as fruits size up. Harvest when the tendril closest to the fruit turns brown and dry, and the underside “ground spot” becomes creamy yellow. Chigarden 2026
